What is HTET? Who conducts the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test?
Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, conducted by the BSEH, is an eligibility test for teachers. It is held for different levels including Primary (PRT), Trained Graduate (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as PRT/ TGT/ PGT teachers in schools of Haryana State Government. After qualifying the test, candidates receive the TET certificate which will be valid for a lifetime. It is an exam conducted by BSEH as an aptitude exam to check whether the teachers are capable enough to manage teaching the Elementary, Secondary, and Senior Secondary Schools.

Syllabus for HTET 2022
Syllabus for HTET Exam consists of the following:-
- Child Development Pedagogy: kid development, Understanding kids with special needs, the idea of inclusive Education and Learning Pedagogy.
- Language 1: Comprehension based mostly on questions and ideas for language development.
- Language two (English): Comprehension based mostly questions in English and Development of language.
- Environmental Studies: Air, Water, components of Body, Habitats, Natural Resources, solar system, Food resources, and Care.
- Mathematics: Numbers, Arithmetic, activity, Algebra, Geometry, Shapes and special Understanding.
Exam Pattern
HTET 2022 will be conducted offline and will be computer based. The exam has three papers, one for the applicants of primary teacher posts, the next paper is for the category of teachers applying for classes sixth to eighth and the third paper is for PGT. Objective based papers, each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking.
