Haryana CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
According to the Commission’s decision, the following qualifications are required for Group C and D posts:
Education Qualification:
- Candidates for Group C positions must have a diploma from a recognized 12th-grade granting institution.
- Candidates for Group D positions must have completed either the matriculated program or the tenth grade to apply.
- Hindi and Sanskrit are required subjects for Matriculation, with Hindi having higher standards.
Nationality Criteria:
Candidates for HSSC must meet the following citizenship requirements:
- The prospective candidate must be an Indian citizen or a permanent resident of India.
- A citizen of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan, provided they have a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India (GOI) that is in their favour.
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 17 years old and no older than 42 years old. Candidates of some categories get relaxation in the upper age limit, as explained in the table below

Haryana CET Group C Exam Date
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) released an official notification in 2021 to conduct the Common Eligibility Test (CET) to recruit Group C & Group D positions. HSSC will hold the Haryana CET Exam on November 5th and 6th, 2022. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of HSSC.
