SSC MTS Vacancies
This year the Commission will conduct the SSC MTS Examination to recruit eligible candidates for 12523 tentative vacancies. Applicants can check the post-wise vacancies through the official notification issued by the board.
SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria in order to appear for the Exam. The candidate must be a citizen of India or a citizen of Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1st, 1962, intending to settle in India permanently. SSC MTS Exam Pattern
There is a different exam pattern for both Tier-I and Tier-II. Both of these are mentioned in the given tables below.
Tier-I
The total exam duration for Tier-I is 90 minutes, i.e., 1 hour and 30 minutes. There is a negative marking in the examination. Therefore, your total score is a sum of all the correct answers you’ve entered, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

Tier-II
This is a short essay/letter-writing Exam with a total duration is 30 minutes. You can opt for English or any suitable language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. The total mark for this Exam is 50. Only those candidates who successfully pass Tier-I become eligible for the Tier-II exam.
