The Chief Minister of Rajasthan has announced on December 30th that in 2022, the board will recruit 20000 new teachers on the basis of the REET 2022 examination. The notification for the same will be available as soon as possible at the board of directors portal. Along with this announcement, he also announced via his tweet that Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2022 will take place on May 14th and 15th, 2022.
Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is a state-level examination held to recruit 3rd-grade teachers for various schools across the state.
The examination takes place in the form of two separate levels. Level-I is for Primary Teacher for Classes I-V, and Level-II is for Primary Teacher for Classes VI-VIII. Candidates can apply for one or both levels at the same time. In this article, we’ll share the essential details of the examination like eligibility, vacancy, application date, etc in this article.

Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for the REET 2022 level 1 and 2 Exams.
Level-I
For Primary Teacher (Class I-V) :
- Candidates must successfully complete Senior Secondary with 50% marks from an identified board and they must pass a 2 Years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). OR
- Candidates must successfully complete Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks or they must be appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in elementary education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002. OR
- Candidates must successfully complete Senior Secondary with 50% marks or they must be appearing in the final years of 4 Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Candidates must successfully complete Higher Secondary with 50% marks or they must be appearing in the final year of 2 Years Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
- Candidates must successfully complete a Graduation Degree or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in elementary education.
Level-II
For Primary Teacher (Class VI-VIII) :
- Candidates must successfully complete Graduation Degree or must be appearing in the final year of 2 Year Diploma course in Elementary Education. OR
- Candidates must successfully complete Graduation Degree with 50% marks and must be pursuing / passed 2 Year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
- Candidates must successfully complete Graduation Degree with 45% marks and must be pursuing / passed in 2 Year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
- Candidates must successfully complete Higher Secondary with 50% marks and must be pursuing / passed in the final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
- Candidates must successfully complete Higher Secondary with 50% marks and must be pursuing / passed in the final year of 4 Years BA.Ed / B.SC.Ed. OR
- Candidates must successfully complete Graduation Degree with 50% marks and passed 1-year B.Ed (Special Education).

Online Application Process
The interested candidates are required to apply for the REET 2022 Exam in an online mode. The applicants are also advised to complete the application in the given time to avoid any last-minute problems; they should carry all the important documents when applying for the exam. Submitting application forms after the last date will be rejected.

Step-1: Visit the official website for REET 2022 Examination, that is, http://rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in
Step-2: Click on the apply online link.
Step-3: Register by providing the required information.
Step-4: Now, proceed towards the application form link.
Step-5: Complete the application form by providing all the details and information in the various fields.
Step-6: Upload the scanned copy of the necessary documents.
Step-7: Pay the registration fee.
Step-8: Complete the application by clicking on the submit button and taking a printout for future use.
REET 2022 Syllabus and Admit card
The BSER board and government are currently working on the preparation of the final syllabus and curriculum of the examination, and information regarding the same is not yet announced.
Before the conduction of the exam, the board will issue an admission card for the applicants, and they are required to carry its hardcopy inside the examination hall for information and evidence. The admission card will be made available to all the candidates via the online mode. It is advised to fetch the printout of the admit card before the examination date.
Points to remember for the REET 2022 Exam
- REET 2022 will take place on 14 and 15 May 2022.
- Application and official notification will be announced shortly.
- Applications will be accepted only in online mode. Offline applications will be rejected.
- Only eligible candidates are advised to submit applications. If an ineligible candidate submits the application then it will be disqualified and will not be reviewed.
- It is advised to all the aspiring candidates to stay in touch with this page and BSER portal until the publication of official notification.
REET 2022 Result
After the completion of both levels of the examination, the results are published on the official BSER portal. Based on the result, the qualifying candidates will be issued with an eligibility certificate. The validity of the REET 2022 Exam will be for 3 years after the declaration of the result. Candidates should note that mere issue of eligibility certificate will not grant any right for appointment of the candidate as a teacher. The certificate is just the minimum eligibility requirement for the selection of teachers in the state.
