Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, conducted by the BSEH, is an eligibility test for teachers. It is held for different levels, including Primary (PRT), Trained Graduate (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as PRT/ TGT/ PGT teachers in schools of the Haryana State Government.
After qualifying for the test, candidates receive the TET certificate, which will be valid for a lifetime. It is an exam conducted by BSEH as an aptitude exam to check whether the teachers are capable enough to manage to teach Elementary, Secondary, and Senior Secondary Schools.

HTET Exam 2022
It is for the teachers who wish to teach in Haryana. The board will issue a TET certificate to the candidates who will qualify for the written examination. The certificate will be valid for five years. Candidates will then become eligible to apply for the vacancies after obtaining the HTET certificate.

– for level 1: the candidate must have passed the 12th examination with at least 50% and a diploma in Elementary Education.
– level 2: the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, a B.Ed, and at least two years of diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing in the final year).
– level 3: the candidate must have a master’s degree along with B.Ed passed or appearing final exam and 2 years Diploma in elementary education (passed or appearing for the final exam).
Exam Pattern
HTET 2022 will be conducted offline and will be computer-based. The exam has three papers: one for the applicants for primary teacher posts, the next for the category of teachers applying for classes sixth to eighth, and the third for PGT. Objective-based papers, each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking.

- Child Development Pedagogy: kid development, Understanding kids with special needs, the idea of inclusive Education and Learning Pedagogy.
- Language 1: Comprehension is based mainly on questions and ideas for language development.
- Language two (English): Comprehension-based mostly questions in English and Development of language.
- Environmental Studies: Air, Water, components of the body, Habitats, Natural Resources, solar system, Food resources, and Care.
- Mathematics: Numbers, Arithmetic, activity, Algebra, Geometry, Shapes and exceptional Understanding.
