RAS Syllabus and Exam Pattern, Understand the exam structure.

Rajasthan Public Service Commission conducts the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Exam to recruit candidates for various prestigious government posts across the state. The board issues the syllabus and exam pattern for the exam. The Examination is further conducted in three stages, namely, Preliminary, Mains, and Interview.

RAS Syllabus

Prelims is an MCQ-type paper with a total of 200 marks. Mains consists of 4 subjective type papers containing 200 marks each. Interview round, also considered as one of the toughest stages, consists of 100 marks.

RAS Prelims

This is the first stage of the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) Exam. It covers the General Knowledge and General Science subjects containing 150 questions with a total of 200 marks. There is negative marking, therefore, marks are deducted for all the wrong answers a candidate has entered. The applicant is given 3 hours of duration time to attempt the whole exam. RAS Mains

The candidates who successfully pass the preliminary round become eligible for the RAS. Mains Exam. This exam contains four separate papers consisting of 200 marks each. Three papers are of General Studies and the last paper is of General English and General Hindi. All of them are of descriptive type and the candidates are allotted 3 hours for each paper. RAS.
