Jharkhand JSSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have completed their 12th grade or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
  • Candidates appearing for their final 12th-grade exam can also apply, provided they present proof of passing at the time of document verification.

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

    • OBC/EWS: 37 years
    • SC/ST: 40 years

Jharkhand JSSC CHSL Exam Pattern

The exam consists of two major stages: Written Exam and Skill Test.

Written Exam Pattern

  • Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark for each incorrect answer

Syllabus for Jharkhand JSSC CHSL 

1. Language Proficiency (Paper 1)

  • Hindi: Grammar, comprehension, sentence formation.
  • English: Grammar, synonyms, antonyms, sentence correction, comprehension.

2. Regional/Tribal Language (Paper 2)

  • Candidates must choose from a list of regional languages like Hindi, Urdu, Santhali, Bangla, etc. This paper focuses on grammar, vocabulary, and language comprehension.
